Season 19 in the Esport Entertainment League (ESEA) was a fruitful Season for 5Aces eSport. We managed to clinch the playoffs of the ESEA Open with our Counter Strike Global Offensive Team with a 10-6 record after the regular season. This result lead us right into the Post Season and the Playoff Bracket, where we had the chance to promote to the Main Division. The Playoffs went fine after 5Aces eSport won four games to reach the quarter final where we had to face mTw and its Danish roster.
5Aces joined the Gamesession Hannover 2015 Winter with a random team. Two members of 5Aces, one former member and two standins plus the management took the chance to get to know each other and discuss the future of the roster. The team managed to win their first two group matches before the streak was stopped by server issues due to a Valve update that was released hours before. Several players had completed the update, but the servers of the Gamesession Hannover were not updated.
A long season lies behind us in the Electronic Sports League Open Summer 2015. 5Aces eSport managed to secure a spot in the ESL Open Playoffs with a record of 7-0. With our record the chance to advance to the ESL Major League became reality for next season. In the round of the last 32 we faced a Danish team called 'jQntefabrikkeN'.
